According to Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, “Niaouli essential oil is one of the most important anti-allergenics in the aromatherapy arsenal.” Use it liberally throughout your home and as part of lotions and oil blends to protect your family. Niaouli essential oil is an immune stimulant which both increases white blood cells in the body and heals skin damaged by acne, burns, or infection.

HOW TO USE

Acne: Apply to acne with a tissue or cotton swab 2–3 times a day.

Bath: Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt suggests that one of the fastest-acting and most effective applications of niaouli is to apply anywhere between 5–20 drops to the whole body during the morning shower. This procedure will become entirely holistic if a loofah glove is used and the oil is worked into the skin along the energy meridians. This application is refreshing and invigorating and is especially recommended in flu season, as it stimulates the defense mechanisms of the body.

Diffuser: Niaouli is a wonderful oil to diffuse as it clears the air, kills airborne virus, and is uplifting.

Inhaler: Can also inhale by adding a few drops niaouli to a tissue or try adding a few drops to a bowl of hot water and inhale.

Massage Oil: Add a few drops niaouli to an oil or cream and massage into tight muscles including the neck and shoulders to alleviate headache or other muscular pain.

Oral Health: Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt suggests rubbing niaouli on the gums – it strengthens them, diminishing inflammation, and the oil’s anti-septic qualities protect the mouth and throat. Niaouli can also be used as dental floss to cleanse the spaces between the teeth.

  • Blend 1 drop of niaouli and 1 drop of sandalwood in a 1 oz. of carrier oil and rub it on the front and back of your neck. This makes an awesome blend for relieving sore throat and infection.

Respiratory Conditions: Blend 5–6 drops of niaouli to 1 oz. of carrier oil. Massage into chest and throat area to help relieve cold and flu symptoms. Massage into sore achy muscles.

Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil.
