Unrefined Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter), Elaeis guineensis (Red Palm) Organic Oil, Certified Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Persea gratissima (Avocado) Organic Oil, Apis mellifera (Beeswax) Pellets, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus sinensis (Orange), Citrus aurantium var. amara (Neroli) Oil.
The essential oil of Lavender has an outstanding healing effect on the skin. Helps heal burns, bug bites, wounds, bee stings, rashes, acne and skin irritations or infections. Bactericidal, antiseptic. The essential oil of Neroli is calming. Widely used in skin care products and is healing combined with other oils for most skin concerns. Anti-infectious and anti-bacterial and offer immune support when ill. The essential oil of Orange is such a bright and uplifting oil! Gives any blend a fresh, happy note. Cooling and cleansing. Shea Butter is extremely therapeutic, helping to heal cracked, aged, or damaged skin. It contains some ultra-violet protection, approximately SPF 6, and is therefore useful in sun products. It also contains chemical constituents that help to heal bruising and soreness. It is a very heavy butter that penetrates the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. Red Palm Oil is considered the richest natural source of skin-healing. Carotenoids (about 15 times more than in carrots). It is a great skin conditioner, moisturizer, and is known for soothing eczema and psoriasis. Jojoba is highly penetrating and the molecular structure closely resembles our natural sebum. Very moisturizing for the skin. It contains myristic acid, an anti-inflammatory agent. Jojoba can act as a second skin providing protection and emolliency while still allowing the skin to breathe. It is used extensively in products for dry, aged and damaged skin and hair. I like to use it in sun protection products as well. Avocado Oil is highly penetrating, deeply nourishing, and softens dry skin. It is known to restore and remoisturize the skin. Repeated applications of moisturizing butters, oils, or lotions made with Avocado Oil reveal an increase of hydration of the upper layers of the skin, and an improvement of the skin’s elastic properties. Avocado Oil prevents chapping, cracks and stretch marks, promotes cell regeneration to damaged skin, and is used for skin inflammation. Coconut Oil is moisturizing and serves as a protective layer, helping to retain the moisture in the skin. Coconut Oil has a cooling property, which lends itself to sun products and burn remedies.
