You’ll want to keep Virginia cedarwood, also known as red cedar, handy because it is so versatile. In addition to its antiseptic, diuretic, and decongestant properties mentioned above, this variety of our three cedarwood oils, which is actually a member of the juniper family, also makes a great addition to lotions for skin issues like eczema and acne. When you’re headed outside, apply a few drops of cedarwood to repel mosquitos and other bugs. And breathing in its pungent woodsy aroma reduces your stress and raises your confidence to tackle whatever life brings.
